Dún Laoghaire Christmas Festival 2017

Dún Laoghaire Town in and Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council association with Dún Laoghaire Harbour Company will be welcoming Santa on Saturday 18th November from 17.45 to officially launch the Christmas Festival. He’ll be arriving at Harbour Plaza to turn on the Christmas Lights at 17.50. Then he’ll be lighting up the skies above the Harbour with a fantastic fireworks display at 6pm.
Santa will also be leaving behind his Postbox beside the Christmas Tree at dlr LexIcon, so you’ll be able to post your letters to the North Pole and get a reply from Santa before Christmas.
The merry Christmas Market on the Metals will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday with a feast for the senses featuring delicious festive fare, handcrafted gifts and decorations, a funfair with an old-world children’s carousel and a whole host of very special tempting treats.
Why not swap city centre crowds and stuffed out-of-town shopping centres for Dún Laoghaire town centre with over 280 retail outlets and businesses. From Saturday November 18th the second hour of on street parking is free when you pay for the first hour.
